I think you are misusing Isaiah 64. That is talking about the religious works of the Israelite who held sin in their hearts. Their so called righteousness was filthy rags. That doesn't mean that all righteousness is filthy rags. For example God said that their sacrifices were an abomination. That doesn't mean that all sacrifices were an abomination.
