My goal never is to use scripture to condone sin. Rather, my goal is to be true to scripture.

If I say that, 'I'm perfect' in my own flesh or in my own righteousness, then the next logical step is to say that, 'nothing I do is sin'.

Sorry I'm not going down that road.

My aim and desire are to press toward the mark of perfection in grace and holiness.


Philippians 3
