'Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.' This is Paul's argument against the Judaizers. Obeying the Torah does not make a sinner right with God. Nor does any obedience atone for their sins or earn their salvation. We must have a blood atonement if we are going to be right with God. We must distinguish between 'repentance for the remission of sins' and 'justification by works of the law'. The former is taught by the Bible, the latter is condemned. We must give up our sins or forsake our wickedness if we are going to be forgiven by God's grace and mercy through Christ.
