'Philippians 312 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.' I think you are misusing that verse. That passage is talking about physical perfection, not moral perfection. Paul said in the verse before that he had not yet 'attained' a resurrected body. We cannot be physically perfect until glorification. But sin does not consist in the substance of the body. Sin is a choice of the will. Therefore you don't need to wait until glorification to be morally perfect. We can have a pure heart now on earth.
