We must distinguish between 'repentance for the remission of sins' and 'justification by works of the law'. The former is taught by the Bible, the latter is condemned. We must give up our sins or forsake our wickedness if we are going to be forgiven by God's grace and mercy through Christ. Ok. That makes sense. Thanks, Jesse.
